Olivia's Birthday

Olivia turned 8! I can't believe I've been a mom for 8 years now! She shares her birthday with her Aunt Bri and she and Ben came with us for Olivia's birthday fun!

Instead of a party we let her pick two friends to take to do an activity of her choosing. She chose Tabby and Victoria and we went bowling and to IHOP.

Then we went home for birthday cake and presents.

Dearest Olivia,

Since the moment we learned you were going to be a member of our family until now, you have been a part of my heart. It is such a joy to watch you grow and everything you do fascinates me. You are such a beautiful and amazing person. You have blessed our family in so many ways. You are so full of energy and are always trying to make us laugh or think of something fun to do. You are confident and strong. I know you will be able to handle all of the trials you are given. You are already such a strength to me. Your sisters adore you and they are so blessed to have you to look out for them. Here are some reasons that we love you:

1. You love to snuggle up and give great hugs!
2. You are a protector to your sisters...you even try to protect them from getting in trouble from mom and dad.
3. You love learning everything from cooking to dance to math.
4. You help when your baby brother is sad without even being asked.
5. You are super confident.
6. You love family home evening and you are always willing to organize a lesson.
7. You are very observant and notice how things are done.
8. You are becoming so independent.
9. You have such a joyful laugh.
10. You don't care about your appearance...you just love being comfortable.
11. You love animals, just like your mom.
12. You are sincere and genuine.
