Olivia started 2nd grade this year! I can't believe how old she is...she'll be turning 8 in February and is excited to be baptized. Here is a picture of her on her 1st day of 2nd Grade!
Olivia has changed so much in the last year. A year ago she was still struggling with reading Dr. Seuss books, and now she is reading 100+ page chapter books in one night! I really saw an improvement when her school did their Eager Reader program. The kids record their reading minutes and get prizes for the number of minutes they read every day. That was when she started reading without us sitting by her, coaching her. I think she realized that she could read more minutes if she didn't have to wait for Mark or I to be available. Now we have to tell her to turn her light off at night and go to sleep. It has been so fun to watch her develop a true love of books!

That's great about Olivia. She's so cute. It's amazing what happens when a child decides they want to do something rather than you forcing them.
I love it when your cousins grow up
