Sam is 7 weeks old and he has changed so much! We are absolutely adoring him! I am loving this little guy. He is so cuddly and so sweet. He is not a big crier and is easily consoled. He is very patient with his 3 big sisters who love to hold and cuddle him to death. Acutally, they are big helps, always getting him his pacifier or just talking to him when his mom has to ignore him to get something done or help someone else. Here are some pictures of him as he has grown the past few weeks.
This is Sam at almost 2 weeks old with his proud papa!
Here he is at just over 3 weeks old. What a cutie! I must say that it has been fun dressing a baby in blue. Notice how much hair he has in this picture, and how much darker it is here, compared to subsequent pictures in this post. One day Mark was giving Sam a bath and all of a sudden his dark hair started washing off. Mark thought I had put Nair in the shampoo bottle, or something :-) Anyway, when the bath was over, Sam looked like he had a receeding hairline. All that was left was the soft blonde hair on top of his head.
We blessed Sam when he was exactly 6 weeks old, on July 6, 2008. He looks so cute in his blessing outfit. I fell in love with this soft little sweater outfit!
Some of the things that Sam was blessed with during his blessing were: health, a sound mind, that he would grow and develop normally, he would have faith and a strong testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and of his role in Heavenly Father's plan. He was also blessed with compassion and that he would help those that stand in need.
Here we all are together on Sam's blessing day.
Sam got to spend the weekend with his new friend Brady, who is 6 weeks older than him. They bonded beside the pool!
This is Sam's tummy at a little over 7 weeks. Isn't it big and cute! He gained 4 lbs in his first 4 weeks of life and is in the 95th percentile for weight. We love to tickle this cute tummy!
And this is our cute guy today! He is just starting to smile and coo at us. We love it when he sees us and smiles!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the pictures!!! He has grown up so much. Mom was telling me he has the darker skin than the girls. I guess one of the kids was bound to get your coloring!! :-)

OH my goodness he is so cute! I loved reading this post as it kind of helped me to know what to expect with my own. Preston has also been losing his hair but I haven't been able to figure out when or where it went! Sam's went in the bathtub eh? Hmmm that is probaby the culprit here too! You look great Traci and your little boy is a cutie.

Traci - it's so good to catch up with your adorable family! Sam is SO cute - I can't wait to meet him. I'd really like to make a trip to Seattle this fall or early next year - we'll see how things go. I'm still so amazed you have 4 kids - seriously - you're amazing :) Love ya!
