My Little Show Stealer

Olivia had her winter concert at school yesterday. All the 1st graders at her school sang two songs, one of which is called "Polar Puppy". Check out the video clip. As you can see, Olivia really got into it and I have been receiving comments ever since. Today they had a holiday craft fair at her school and I ran into her teacher. She pulled me aside and said that Olivia was so cute at the concert. She also said that Olivia is so quiet and barely talks in class. She said that her music teacher also said she doesn't talk much and she was totally surprised when Olivia busted out the moves (okay, she didn't say it quite that way, but you get the picture). I just can't believe that she is quiet in class...I was always afraid she'd be the girl they always had to ask to stop talking. She is always chattering and perfroming around us. Later, at the bake sale table, a woman from the PTA saw Olivia and she said, "You're the girl who was so cute at the concert!". I guess she's famous now! I think one reason she was so into it is that she was in the front row and couldn't see that the other kids were not quite as excited as she was. We're pretty entertained by her all the time, but now other's got to see it for themselves!
