Wilson Week

Last week we were able to spend some time on the Oregon coast with Mark's family for our second installment of "Wilson Week"! We had an amazing time hanging out with cousins and living it up Wilson style!

We visited the aquarium...

Rocked out in matching t-shirts to live music...

Explored "The Devil's Punchbowl" with cousins...

Did some kite flyin'...

And finally, Olivia and Mark did a little crabbing...can you believe she is holding a LIVE crab!

But, our favorite part of Wilson Week has to be the sharing of the family DVD's and pictures. Every time we do this everyone puts together a slide show or video of their own family since the last time we all got together. Here is ours...

Kid Quotes

8/09: Mark's been working a lot of hours lately. This is Ella's commentary on that. E: I want daddy to quit his job at the hospable and go work at a grocery store. That way he will be there when we go there.
2/09: Annie wanted to go on a bike ride, but she realized that I do not have a bike. She said, "That's okay mommy, someday my bike will grow into your size." I was then distracted and doing other things when I heard Annie open the door to the garage. I couldn't see her, but I asked her what she was doing. She replied, "I'm going out to water my bike so it can grow for you!" She had literally gotten a cup and filled it up with water, put her shoes on, and was heading out to the garage to "water my bike".
2/09: We were babysitting my neice Violet and Annie was throwing a fit. I told her she needed to be quiet because Baby Vi was asleep. Annie said in a sassy voice, "I don't care!" I then told her she would have to go to her room if she woke her up and she said, "Well, I can get out!"...so sassy!
2/09: The other day we were driving through a neighborhood and Ella kept calling it a "Robin Hood". It took me forever to figure out what she was talking about.
The other day we got our Christmas tree, and this was the comment I overheard from Olivia: "What should we put on the top of the tree...I know, a picture of me!" You might think she was joking, but she was dead serious.
The other day I was driving and I was anxious because I was going to be really late picking Olivia up. Annie wanted to talk to me while I was trying to concentrate on driving and I told her I couldn't talk right then because I was sad. She looked at me and said, "You sad? But you da mom!".
